Our Story
My name is Mattie Allen, and this is my farm stand! I am a special education teacher and an avid lover of cozy, earthy living. I have been gardening for years and have always loved growing beautiful flowers and produce. I have also been baking since a young age and love any opportunity to share my baking with others. These hobbies, along with others such as making jam, embroidery, and crochet, drew me to start a farm stand to share things made with intention and passion. I hope my stand inspires you to find joy in the little things and to embrace slowing down to smell the flowers-literally!

From Soil & Soul is a self-service farm stand located in Grain Valley, Missouri. We carry produce, fresh flowers, baked goods, and handcrafted finds. The produce and fresh flowers are organic; we use no pesticides. Our hours of operation are Friday-Sunday. We are open from 7:00 AM to 8:00 PM on our operating days. If you want to ensure you get the products you wish to, you can preorder! Just send a text message at 816-890-8332 or send an email to fromsoilandsoul@gmail.com. Be sure to check our menu each week as products vary. The stand is located at the end of the driveway at 32907 E R.D Mize rd. If you come in person to shop, we accept Venmo or cash. It is self-service, so take your time, select your items, then pay in your preferred way!

The flowers we grow are unique and selected with beauty and nature in mind. We encourage pollinators in our garden by planting pollinator-friendly plants to help protect butterflies and bees.
